"I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in me,
and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me
you can do nothing...."
John 15:5

+OPENING HYMN #53 (Favorite Hymn Book)

“The Old Rugged Cross”

+CALL TO CONFESSION

+PRAYER OF CONFESSION

Gracious and Merciful God, though you keep showing us the way to faithful life, we never seem to measure up to Christian perfection.  Though we might do many things well, and even love and serve with devotion and effectiveness, we know we do not always do justice, love kindness, or walk humbly with you.  Forgive us for the things we say and do that offend or harm.   Forgive us for the things that we do not say or do that could bring love and hope to our hurting world.  Guide us into your presence that we might know mercy and justice.  Walk alongside us that we might know humility and hope.  And help us share more grace and love all around.  Amen.

Welcome and God’s grace to all who gather for worship today.  May God’s grace and presence touch all of our lives as we greet each other, open our hearts in praise to God, sing, pray, listen, and commit our lives again to God’s purposes.  We welcome all who are visiting today.

If you are visiting, or seeking a church home, we invite you to explore all that happens in the life and ministry in this church.  Speak to the pastor for more information and be sure to sign the Guest Book, which is found in the rear of the church.  We also invite you to lave us your address, phone number, and/or email that we might contact you.
